Bernie Sanders, a self described socialist and 2016 candidate for President of the United States, has attracted 200,000 plus donors so far, and at his campaign launch rallied 10,000 supporters. It is far past time for any reasonable advocate for the U.S. Constitution, and the view of America as advocated at our founding, to wake up and realize that socialism and communism are not foes from a bygone era, but instead, they are the most organized and growing force in America today. Conservatism, so-called, provides no real counter force. The answer is in capitalism, and in those who will organize and advocate for free capitalism and a new movement of those willing to build an American Liberty Society.
Both dominant political parties in the United States are loyal participants in the growing tyranny and the now decades long march towards increased statism and decreased liberty. Pretending to hope for and work for solutions through the existing political establishment – conservative or liberal – is not only futile, it is tantamount to lending strength to our enemies and surrendering the hope of the United States.
This is a war, beginning with a war of ideas, unfortunately, most “patriots” are unarmed, undereducated, and in many instances deceived. It is time to wake up. Take the Liberty Pledge™ and join the new American Liberty League to become part of the real solution.
