Iraq’s prime minister found himself literally edged out on Monday by a trio of world leaders including U.S. President Barack Obama.
In an “odd” spectacle, at the recent G-7 meeting, President Obama ignores the leader of a country (Iraq) where U.S. Troops are actively engaged in military training, support and assisting our “ally” in the battle against ISIS and other insurgents in Iraq. Even more telling, Obama was more focused on a discussion with Italy and the IMF while both he and the Prime Minister of Italy clearly were aware of the Iraqi Prime Minister and his efforts to join the conversation. Statesmanship? Leadership?
